Meet & Greet — Sunday, September 20, noon to 3 PM at St. Vincent Park.
I’m hosting a Meet & Greet in Ward 1 on Sunday, September 20, and I hope you’ll drop by.
It runs from noon to 3 PM at St. Vincent Park. There’s no formal program — just a casual conversation and some lunchtime refreshments with neighbours from across the ward.
Over the past few months I’ve been knocking on doors across Ward 1 and hearing about the things that matter most here: how our neighbourhoods grow, keeping our streets safe, well-maintained properties and responsible landlords, and protecting taxpayers while our city invests in its future.
An afternoon at the park is a chance to continue those conversations in a more relaxed setting — and to meet residents I haven’t had the chance to talk with yet. If something is on your mind, I’d genuinely like to hear it.
Optional donations will be accepted at the Meet & Greet in support of Barrie Families Unite, a Barrie not-for-profit working to make sure individuals and families in our community have dignified access to essential needs — grocery support, clothing, and help in a crisis.
Contributing is entirely optional. If you would simply like to come out, say hello, and enjoy an afternoon at the park, that is more than welcome too.
If you know a neighbour in Ward 1 who might like to come, please pass this along. The invitation is below.

I’m looking forward to spending the afternoon at St. Vincent Park with you, and to hearing what matters most to the people of Ward 1.
If you can’t make it, you can always reach me through stevenson4ward1.ca — and I’d be glad to hear from you.
I hope to see you there.
