I started knocking on doors a few days ago, and the experience has reaffirmed why I want to be your representative at City Hall. I already knew how special our community is, and the warm reception I’ve received has only reinforced that. Ward 1 residents are welcoming, engaged, and deeply community-minded.
The conversations have been wonderful, with thoughtful questions about homelessness, affordability, core municipal services, and responsible growth and development. These are all priorities for me, and issues I will work hard to address on your behalf.
In the coming weeks I will be campaigning around the ward and I hope to meet you in person. For more than 30 years, I’ve worked in communications and strategic leadership in the public sector. My husband owns a local business, I’m an active volunteer, and I’ve built strong relationships throughout Barrie. I know how to bring people together, solve problems, and get things done.
